My favorite possession: My orange cat, Wedgy. He’s big, loud, utterly self-centered and I adore him.

I can’t live without: Access to books, music and art. In the middle of misery, war and economic crises, they remind me of what a beautiful place the world can be.

If I could be totally wild, I would: Dress like Marie Antoinette every day—giant silk gowns, candy-colored jewels, powdered makeup, high-rise hair accessorized with a model warship equipped with a miniature operational cannon. Grocery shopping at Kroger would never be the same.

Favorite web site: cuteoverload.com. Baby animals and their shenanigans—hilarious.

Last major purchase: My new Pfaff Sewing Machine. I’m still amazed at how quiet $1,200 can be.

If I had a vanity plate on my car, it would say: SKRTGRL.

If I were a superheroine I would be: Beatrix Kiddo, aka Black Mamba (from the movie Kill Bill). She has the whole package—samurai sword skills, fluent Japanese, fabulous clothes and great hair.

My favorite possession: It’s a tie between my Living Dead Doll collection and my family photos.

I can’t live without: My husband, my cat Pogo, lotion, Diet Pepsi, and gum.

Right now I’m reading:  The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter, Frostbite by Richelle Mead, Rogue by Rachel Vincent.  I’m horrible about reading several books at the same time!

The nickname I wish I had:  The Finisher. I have so many unfinished projects floating around.

My theme song:  “No Rain” by Blind Melon.  There’s a lot more to that song than just rain or a little girl dressed in a bee costume!
